TAURANGA, NEW ZEALAND 27th October, 2017

Nevana Designs is exceptionally proud to support ‘The 2017 Papamoa Hills Night Walk’, hosted by Breast Cancer Support Service Tauranga Trust.

Now in its 8th year, this year’s event was held in the picturesque Papamoa Hills above Tauranga. The full moon couldn’t quite provide enough light for the 400 walkers supporting this worthy cause, so thanks to the partnership formed between our local distributor Wayne Renner and BCSSTT Service Manager Helen Alice, we were very pleased to donate Eco-Discs to mark the route and guide the walkers along the hills in the darkness. Helen comments on the event:

“In the past we had tried to use glow sticks, but when we heard about the Eco-Disc we were really keen to give them a go. We had great feedback from walkers as they came off the walk, reporting that the Eco-Discs were great. They were easy to lay out and gave out a steady glow – best of all we don’t need to throw them away and can reuse them next year!”

Nevana Designs’ distributor for New Zealand Wayne Renner had this to add:

“It was great for us to be able to help out the Breast Cancer Support Service Tauranga Trust on their Night Walk this year. We have always looked to develop our technology in a way that benefits the community and I’m very happy to see the discs being used for exactly that purpose.”

With over 400 walkers and 40 hard working volunteers helping make the 8th year of the Night Walk another resounding success, we look forward to contributing again at next year’s event.
